Port Blair, Aug 13: Sarthak Kanjilal, Reporter of Andaman Sheekha, English Daily, who had sustained head injuries, in an accident on 28 July 2012, has returned back to Port Blair after his treatment in Apollo Hospital, Chennai. Fully recovered, Sarthak Kanjilal has joined Andaman Sheekha office from this morning.
“In Andaman Sheekha’s facebook group and mail, I read all good wishes and prayers for my speedy recovery sent by readers and friends. I am thankful to all of them for standing behind me in tough time,” said Sarthank Kanjilal, while recalling post accident days. “I still don’t remember what happened for nearly two days after my accident,” he added. Sarthak had hit a cow, sitting right on the middle of the road at night, at Prothrapur Jail Road.
