Port Blair, Jan 09: On 7th January 2022 evening a POCSO case was registered at PS Kadamtala against a 60 year old resident of the region. It has been reported that the accused had physically assaulted a five year old minor girl living in his neighbourhood.
On receipt of the complaint from Kadamtala PHC, Police team apprehended the accused within two hours. The Police team of PS Kadamtala yesterday produced the accused before the Honorable Court at Mayabunder, from where the Hon’ble Court has sent accused to judicial custody.
