16 Prahara Naam Sankirtan by Sri Sri Radhagovinda Mandir, Diglipur

Diglipur, April 17: Sri Sri Radhagovinda Mandir, Diglipur Committee organized a 16 Prahara Naam Sankirtan in the Mandir premises yesterday. As part of the program, Kalash Yatra by filling the pitchers with holy water with chanting of mantras by the women devotees from the Kalpong River was done early morning prior to Adhivas Kirtana (from 0.70pm to 10.00pm) which was held on Pahela Baishakh i.e. 15th April 2022. The 48 hrs Naam Sangkirtana started at 05.00am on the following day i.e 16th April 2022 which will come to an end at 05.00am on 18th April. Mahotsav Prasad distribution will start at 01.00pm. Altogether 4 kirtana teams have been chanting and singing “Hari Naam Kirtana” uninterrupted in their sequential turn, each team taking a period of time divided for their turn to complete.
The Mandir committee has been serving the devotees with fal Prasad and purely vegetable sambar/dal-bhat as anna danam twice- in the noon and at night since yesterday. The devotees in hundreds in numbers hailing from everywhere were seen to throng the temple and become absorbed in the Harinaam Sankirtan.
Sixteen Prahara Naam Sankirtan will come to an end at 05.00am on 18th April after the Nagar Kirtan at 05.00am tomorrow, Mandir committee said.
There will be a Padavali Kirtan from 08.30am to 12.30pm and then the Mahotsav Prasad consisting of daal & rice with different kinds of vegetable dishes will be served at 01.00pm, the committee source also said.
