Port Blair, Dec 04: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder has raised a significant concern regarding the persistent non-availability of essential Ayurvedic medicines at the Ayush Unit of the Community Health Centre in Rangat.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Mr. Halder, in his statement, articulates the gravity of the situation, pointing out the consistent unavailability of crucial Ayurvedic medicines, causing inconvenience to those seeking alternative and traditional forms of healthcare in Rangat.
He stated that the accessibility of Ayurvedic medicines is not merely a matter of convenience; it resonates with the broader objective of fostering diverse healthcare options in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
He emphasizes the vitality of addressing the root cause of this issue to ensure the importance of steady and adequate supply of Ayurvedic medicines at the Ayush Unit in Middle Andaman.
Mr. Halder further calls for an action, urge’s authorities to prioritize the resolution of the Ayurvedic medicine supply issue for enhancing the overall healthcare landscape in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
