As we approach the solemn commemoration of the Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7th, I am filled with admiration for the unwavering courage and dedication exhibited by our Armed Forces in safeguarding our nation. This annual observance, dating back to 1949, serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the men and women in uniform to uphold the honour of our country.
It is a day not only to acknowledge the valour of our soldiers but also to pay tribute to the widows and children left behind by those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
On this significant occasion in 2023, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Armed Force Personnel, veterans, and their families.
