HumaneTouch NGO Empowers Villagers at Mayabunder through ClotheShare Programs

December 18, 2023 by sanjib Leave a Comment

Port Blair, Dec 18: On a crisp morning, HumaneTouch, a compassionate non-profit organization, embraced the spirit of giving by conducting its Clothe Share Program at Gana Dabla and Kalapahad. The event, held on December 17, 2023, aimed to extend warmth and support to the residents of these villages, marking a significant step in the organization’s ongoing commitment to community welfare.
At the break of dawn, Bro. C H Abdul Aziz, a respected figure and representative of HumaneTouch, took the stage at Gana Dabla. His introduction to the organization resonated with the gathered villagers, setting a tone of camaraderie and compassion. With an air of empathy, around 60 villagers were beneficiaries of this noble initiative, receiving essential clothing items.
Transitioning seamlessly to Kalapahad, K Naushad Ali, a devoted member of HumaneTouch, extended a warm welcome to the assembled villagers. His heartfelt address encapsulated the essence of the NGO’s mission – to provide assistance and support to that in need. With great enthusiasm and gratitude, 40-50 villagers were provided with clothing essentials, ensuring their comfort.
The event stood as a testament to the power of collective action and empathy, showcasing how small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on underserved communities. HumaneTouch’s unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals was vividly displayed through these initiatives.
The success of the Clothe Share Programs at Gana Dabla and Kalapahad symbolizes HumaneTouch’s commitment to bridging gaps and ensuring that basic necessities reach every doorstep. The NGO’s tireless efforts not only provide tangible support but also imbue hope and resilience within the communities it serves.Last year, in January, a similar Clotheshare program was organized in the same place, signifying the organization’s steadfast commitment to consistently support communities in need.
HumaneTouch’s initiatives continue to shine brightly, reminding us all of the power of humanity and the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need. The NGO’s efforts embody the true essence of compassion and solidarity, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of the villagers it reaches.
HumaneTouch is grateful for the support received from the well-wishers at Mayabunder in organising the program and looks forward to continuing its mission of serving communities in need.
To extend this ClotheShare program to other rural villages of these islands, we request one and all to donate used good clothes to Humane Touch, so that it can be distributed to the needy.
