Port Blair, Feb 01: Ishita Biswas, a young girl hailing from a small village in North and Middle Andaman, has become the proud winner of the AULVA Miss India Super Model 2024. Born on August 26, 2005, Ishita’s father is a social worker managing his own business.
Her journey towards the title began in her school days, where she developed a passion for dance and actively participated in cultural activities. Ishita particularly enjoyed taking part in dance competitions, fancy dress competitions, and various cultural events during village fairs. Her parents were a constant source of support and motivation throughout her journey.
Ishita’s interest in fashion blossomed early on, leading her to practice diligently at home. Her parents provided unwavering support, encouraging her to watch fashion shows on TV and social media and practice whenever she had the opportunity. After completing her schooling, she chose Port Blair for her college education.
While residing with her grandmother in Port Blair, Ishita faced the challenge of participating in the Mr. and Miss Andaman contest. Overcoming her initial hesitation, she competed against candidates from urban areas and emerged victorious, thanks to her parents’ support and motivation. This win marked the beginning of Ishita’s venture into the world of beauty pageants.
Motivated by her success, Ishita channelled her energy towards social work, engaging in activities such as distributing water during the scorching heat and assisting children in ashrams. Her efforts have made her a role model for many youth in Andaman.
In December, Ishita learned about the AULVA Miss and Mrs. India Super Model 2024 contest through social media. Excited about the opportunity, she sought her parents’ approval, receiving their full support. Traveling to Mumbai with her mother and sister, she faced the challenge of competing in a major city after hailing from a small island in Andaman and Nicobar.
Overcoming her inner doubts and remembering her triumph as Miss Andaman, Ishita gave her best in the AULVA Miss India Super Model 2024 contest. Her determination and passion proved once again that with unwavering commitment, one can overcome any challenge. She proudly adorned the title of Miss India 2024, placing Andaman and Nicobar Island on the national stage.
