Port Blair, Aug 11: In a vibrant display of patriotism and unity, the South Andaman Sub-Division Police organized a “Tiranga Bike Rally” on August 10, 2024, as part of the nationwide “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The event aimed to celebrate and promote national pride by encouraging citizens to proudly display the national flag.
The rally began at 4:30 PM from Bhatu Basti and concluded at Flag Point. It was a noteworthy event, drawing active participation from all three police stations under the South Andaman Sub-Division. A total of 30 bikes participated, covering key areas along the route and providing the public with an opportunity to witness and join in this patriotic celebration.
Participants also conveyed the message of safety protocols and traffic regulations to general public by wearning helmets, driving in proper lane and within applicable speed limits.
The South Andaman District Police is committed to maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved. Let us come together to honor our national flag and strengthen the spirit of unity and patriotism.
