Port Blair, Aug 11: As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign-2024, the Art & Culture Department, A&N Administration organized a visit of school students from GSSS Manglutan to the National Memorial Cellular Jail on Aug 9, 2024.
As many as 50 students accompanied by 3 Teachers were given a guided tour of the Cellular Jail. They evinced keen interest in knowing the history of the Cellular Jail and about the freedom fighters who were incarcerated in this Jail. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, taking place nationwide from August 9 to 15, 2024, aims to strengthen patriotism among citizens.
