Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 27: The District Administration of South Andaman, in its steadfast commitment to reclaim and protect public assets, has escalated its strategically coordinated encroachment eviction drive. This concerted effort is focused on restoring government land to its rightful use, underscoring the Administration’s unwavering dedication to upholding the rule of law and preserving the sanctity of public spaces.
In Aberdeen Bazar Village, following a complaint, the revenue officials swiftly removed an unauthorized tin structure. An area measuring 50 sq. mtr. of Government revenue land has been reclaimed and restored to government khata.
The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman cautioned the General Public to refrain from encroaching Government land and further stated that the District Administration has zero tolerance towards encroachment on government land and it shall uphold the interest of law against encroachers and serious action shall be fixed upon those supporting the encroachers. The Administration remains resolute in its mission to safeguard public lands and ensure that they are used for the benefit of the community at large.
