Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 25: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, units of various colleges organized an ‘Akrosh Pradarshan’ near the Vivekananda statue at JNRM College campus to protest against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which brutally took the lives of 26 innocent people .
A large number of students participated in the massive protest, expressing their outrage and anger against heinous terrorist acts and demanding justice for the victims. The demonstration was led by ABVP City Secretary Mr. Satyajit Halder, along with JNRM College ABVP Convener Mr.P Bhuvaneshwaran, Unit Secretary Guru Prasad, Law College Convener Ayush Raj and Unit Vice President. ABVP City Joint Secretary Mr. Kunal Bain.
Students participated in the ‘Aakrosh Pradarshan’ raised slogans condemning brutal killing of innocent people by terrorist and paid tribute to the victims. Meanwhile two-minute silences were observed. The ‘Aakrosh Pradarshan’ concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and resilience against terrorism.
ABVP karyakartas urged the government to take strict action against terrorism to prevent such tragedies in the future. The demonstration reflected the collective anger and grief of the student community over the loss of innocent lives.
