The yatra was held to honor the brave soldiers of India and salute their valiant efforts, particularly in light of the recent counter-terrorist operation, codenamed “Operation Sindoor”, launched in response to the Pahalgam attack.
The rally commenced from the Congress Office, passed through Clock Tower, and culminated at the historic Gandhi Statue. Over 400 party members and supporters enthusiastically participated, waving the tricolor and chanting slogans in support of national unity and security.
A felicitation ceremony was held to recognize individuals associated with the armed forces. Among those honored was Mr. Abdul Sattar, an ex-Army personnel member, who was acknowledged for his dedicated service to the nation.
