
Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 12: On the occasion of Child Labour Day, Mrs Farida Bibi CRY Representative (Child Rights and You) & Team organized an age-wise drawing competition at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sri Vijayapuram. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the adverse impact of child labour through creative expression.
A total of 103 students from various classes enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their artistic talents and thoughtful perspectives on the theme. The event received strong support from the school’s teachers and the in-charge, who helped facilitate and encourage student participation.
Through their drawings, students powerfully conveyed the message that child labour denies children their right to education, safety, and a happy childhood.
