Port Blair, Jan 04: Avinash, has once again made the people of these islands proud by getting selected for the “Total Singer Workshop” which will be held in New York, USA. Instead of rushing into the glam world he has chosen to learn more and emerge as the best. After being known nationally he has got a chance to make himself and Andaman and Nicobar Islands to be known to the people internationally. He will be the only one who will represent India for the first time since the inception of this workshop which started 11 years ago.
The talent of these islands will get a chance to learn and perform with the experts in the area of music and this will groom his talent and will in-turn help the future generations of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is known that Avinash is giving training for Indian Classical & Bollywood singing and after attending this workshop the people of these islands can suffice their thirst for learning western music also.
Avinash, a National Awardee in Music, is also the recipient of Lt. Governor’s Commendation Certificate, the highest honour of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Avinash has also participated in internationally acclaimed singing reality shows like Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Sony TV’s Indian Idol.
