Port Blair, May 07: Andaman’s own high budget bilingual movie ‘Mission January’ has received encouraging reviews in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Made in two languages ‘Mission January’ in Hindi and ‘Yaar Ivano’ in Tamil, is produced by Mr. G. Karthick Kumar and directed by Mr. S.M. Kumaresan.
Both the version were released in these islands today at TSG Emerald Views.
The Tamil version of the movie ‘Yaar Ivano’ was released by former Chairperson of Andaman Nicobar Social Welfare Board, Mrs. Ratna Kannan while the Hindi version was released by Padmashree Naresh Chander Lal, renowned film director and producer of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The actors of the movie are from the Islands but the music director is from Chennai.
The dubbing and editing work is done in Chennai studios so the film is prepared like other high budget movies. The movie was completed with a budget of 25 lakhs.
After watching the film Padmashree Naresh Chander Lal, showered blessings on the Mission January team. He appreciated the efforts of the entire team to produce the movie in two languages, which he says is very difficult even for established producers. He also praised the actors of the film, who look very professional, despite of the fact that all of the actors are amateurs.
