Port Blair, Dec 13: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, MP in presence of the Secretary, PWD, the Chief Engineer, APWD, Mr. Lionald Nicomed, Vice-Chief Captain, & Mr. Reginald Watchfull, Deputy Vice Chief Captain, both from the Tribal Council Car Nicobar, Mr. Peterson Job, 1st Headman of Chuckchucha Village, other tribal leaders and villagers of Car Nicoabar has laid the foundation to the under mentioned four works of APWD on 08,12,2018.
Construction of Civil Air Terminal Building at Air Force Station, Car Nicobar which to be completed within the sanctioned amount of Rs: 8,17,79,816/-.in eighteen months from the date of award of work.
Construction of road from main road to Sea Shore via Smti Edna’s house for a length of 650 mtrs at Kinyuka Village, Car Nicobar which to be completed within sectioned amount of Rs:76,49,513/-in three months from the date of award of work.
Improvement of internal rural road from main road to culvert near BSNL Tower up to Bus terminus point for total length of 2.70 km which to be completed within the sanctioned amount of Rs:1,40,27,109/- in six months from the date of award of work.
Improvement of internal rural road from Kinyuka School to Nicobari Round Hut at Chukchucha Village for total length of 2.30 km which to be completed within sanctioned amount of Rs:1,08,37,398/-in eighteen months from the date of award of work.
