Port Blair, Oct 11: In order to promote Road Safety Awareness, on 10/10/2019 A&NI Traffic Police brought school children from Govt. Sec. School, Junglighat to Children Traffic Park, Marina Park, Port Blair. A total of 70 students from Class III to V and teachers of the school were present in the class. They were educated on road signages/traffic rules and regulations, further bicycles were provided to the children for riding around the park and learning about intersections, red lights, STOP Line etc.
A&NI Traffic Police has made a tentative programme for conducting road safety awareness classes for various schools of the city, in the Childrens Traffic Park upto December, 2019 and this campaign will continue to spread the message of awareness and safety.
