Three days after Girder Shifting Accident, finally Mantena Vashishta places two Girders over pillars of Thoratang Bridge

Billiground, Sept 29: On 26 September 2021 belts of two heavy lifting cranes had snapped while placing the first Girder of the under construction Thoratang Bridge. Luckily no one was injured during the accident and the Girder was also intact.
Now as per reports after three days the contractor of the Thoratang Bridge from Mantena Vashishta has managed to place two Girders over the pillars of Thoratang Bridge.
Now, the Project Manager Mr. Rama Krishna Rao of Mantena Vashishta has intimated Andaman Sheekha Daily that from tomorrow morning the Vehicles route have been diverted From Billyground via CFO Nallah towards Rangat and vice versa and it has also been intimated that the Power supply may get disrupted in the region for some hours, as per requirement for work for next two days. He urged the Public to extend their cooperation.
