Diglipur, Nov 01: A dead-body of a man was found yesterday morning at Narayan Tikry creek area. It is learnt that police suspects that the man was attacked by a Crocodile.
As per information yesterday morning 08:30 AM local people of Narayan Tikry found the dead body floating in the creek of Narayan Tikry. Later this matter was informed to Police Station Kalighat. Immediately Police Team of Police Station Kalighat reached the spot and sighted around two meter long Crocodile in nearby area. The left hand of the body was reportedly missing and there were grievous injuries on the left side of the face. As per sources a dinghy has also been found from the area. Later the victim was identified as Mr. Soreng Francis, 45 years a resident of Narayan Tikry. Further details are awaited.
