Anil Shukla, IPS, ADGP/HQ visits Louis-inlet Bay & Interview Island in the N&M Andaman

Port Blair, Feb 11: Mr. Anil Shukla, IPS, ADGP/HQ was on 02 days visit to the North & Middle Andaman District. He visited look-out Posts at Louis-inlet Bay and Interview Island.
He interacted with the staff and understood their challenges in posting at these remote locations on a rotational basis.
In his interaction, he appreciated the staff for their contribution in keeping the Islands safe from the threat of poachers. He listened to their challenges and gave directions to the local officers to take appropriate actions to address the concerns of the staff.
A meeting was held with all the Dy.SP and SHOs of the district by ADGP/HQ in the SP office to review the overall functioning of District Police and to review the preparedness for the upcoming Panchayat Elections.
