All India Secondary School Certificate Examination Results: Islands recording pass percentage of 89.50%

Port Blair, May 14: The result of All India Secondary School Certificate Examination, 2024 (Class X) and All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, 2024 (Class XII) has been declared on 13th May, 2024.
A total of 4858 students appeared in class XII from the Government and private schools of A & N Islands, out of which, 4590 students passed and 219 students have been placed in compartment. The overall pass percentage of A & N Islands for class XII during this year is 94.48% whereas, the result of last year 2023 was 83.44% which is a significant increase of 11.04%.
As per the press release received from Directorate of Education, a total of 5475 students appeared in class X from the Government and private schools of A & N Islands, out of which, 4900 students passed and 532 students have been placed in compartment. The overall pass percentage of A & N Islands for class X during this year is 89.50% whereas, the result of last year 2023 was 84.34% which is a significant increase of 5.16%.
