Distribution of Chicks by Veterinary Dispensary, Elephant Point at Gram Panchayat Namunaghar

Sri Vijaya Puram, May 16: The Veterinary Dispensary, Elephant Point successfully conducted a distribution program of chicks to the residents under the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat Namunaghar. The event was held at the Panchayat Bhawan of Gram Panchayat Namunaghar.
The program witnessed the gracious presence of Mr. Y. Venkateshwar, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Namunaghar and Dr. Sanjhali Soren, Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Dispensary Elephant Point.
On this occasion, the dignitaries personally distributed 52 chicks to the people of Gram Panchayat Namunaghar with an objective to promote self-employment.
The Pradhan Gram Panchayat Namunaghar appreciated the commendable efforts of the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) in initiating this valuable step towards enhancing rural livelihood and supporting poultry-based self-employment in the region.
This initiative aims to empower local residents by providing them with sustainable income-generation opportunities through backyard poultry farming.
