Sri Vijaya Puram, May 16: As part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Foundation Day of Sikkim was celebrated enthusiastically today in Raj Niwas. Persons hailing from Sikkim participated in the function. A short documentary of Sikkim was also screened. The function ended with high tea, photograph and presentation of mementos to the invitees. The participant thanked MHA, Govt. of India and Raj Niwas for the initiative and for providing them opportunities and platform for interaction.
