Port Blair, April 22: A male Crocodile of 3.5 meters in length and around 250 Kgs in weight has been captured in a cage, placed by the staffs of Forest Department yesterday at the Collinpur Beach area.
As per reports, since last 06 days the same Crocodile was sighted in the area following which the team of Forest Department under the supervision of Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh was continuously monitored the area and yesterday they placed a cage to capture the said Crocodile.
The Captured crocodile was today shifted to the Mini Zoo, Haddo at 09:30am. As per reliable sources in the department, the team is now waiting for the instructions of the seniors for shifting the Crocodile to other location.
