Port Blair, Feb 10: A 22-years-old youth was arrested yesterday under POCSO Act for allegedly assaulting a school student in the South Andaman region.
Interestingly, it is the second time that the accused has been arrested by the Pahargaon Police Station in connection with abusing a school girl.
Recently he was released on bail, it is learnt.
As per information received the accused was first arrested in November 2021 under POCSO act. Yesterday on 09th February 2022 in the evening the accused tried to threaten the minor girl to take the previous case back. Based on a complaint filed by the parents of the victim the youth was arrested again by PS Pahargaon.
